Greenland 2: Migration plot recap, spoiler-light
Five years after the interstellar comet Clarke devastated the Earth, the Garrity family has been living inside an underground bunker near Thule Air Base in Greenland. John works as an engineer and scout, Allison is a community leader, and their teenage son Nathan dreams of scouting. When severe tectonic earthquakes collapse the shelter, an emergency evacuation triggers a deadly tsunami that destroys the facility and kills most of the inhabitants.
Survivors escape on a lifeboat to Liverpool, where Adam Shaw is killed by soldiers guarding a rival bunker during an approaching superstorm. The group fragments, and subsequent travels claim the lives of Obi and Dr. Casey Amina due to falling debris and violent bandits.
The diminished Garrity family eventually reaches London, where they rest at a memory care facility run by an old friend. There, Allison discovers that John is suffering from fatal radiation sickness acquired from his scouting duties, casting a heavy shadow over their ongoing struggle to find a stable home across the ruined European landscape.
