In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, humanity faces monstrous threats called Curses, which are born from negative emotions like regret and shame. These entities can only be exorcised by other Curses or through Cursed Energy. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a teenager possessing incredible physical strength who leads an ordinary life until his friends are attacked by Curses at school.
To save them, Yuji consumes a preserved finger belonging to Ryomen Sukuna, the Double-Faced Specter, successfully hosting the terrifying entity within his own soul. Rather than executing Yuji immediately, the powerful sorcerer Gojou Satoru arranges for him to enroll at the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School of Sorcery. This sets up a perilous journey in which Yuji must track down and consume all of Sukuna's remaining fingers. By doing so, Yuji accepts a dangerous path where he shares a body with a supreme evil, ultimately planning to die alongside Sukuna to rid the world of his catastrophic threat and secure a meaningful death.
