At Sakuragaoka High School, four students come together to rescue the light music club from dissolution. Initially, Yui Hirasawa lacks any musical background or the ability to read sheet music, yet she eventually transforms into a skilled guitar player. Alongside bassist Mio Akiyama, drummer Ritsu Tainaka, and keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki, Yui spends her days practicing and hanging out.
