Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse plot recap, spoiler-light
Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales is struggling with the high expectations of his police officer father, Jefferson Davis, who views Spider-Man as a public menace. While visiting an abandoned subway station with his uncle Aaron to create graffiti, a radioactive spider bites Miles, granting him extraordinary spider-like abilities. Returning to the station to investigate, Miles stumbles upon a massive collider built by the villainous Kingpin.
Kingpin intends to use the machine to open parallel universes and reach alternate versions of his deceased wife and son. During a confrontation, Kingpin murders the original Spider-Man, leaving the city in deep grief. Desperate to honor the fallen hero, Miles attempts to step into his shoes as the city's protector.
While visiting Peter's grave, Miles crosses paths with an older, alternate-dimension Peter Parker. Together, they sneak into Alchemax to build a replacement flash drive to shut down the collider. They soon encounter additional heroes from different dimensions, including Spider-Woman, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and Spider-Ham, all of whom are suffering from cellular decay.
