Despicable Me watch order
By Marquee Editorial4 entries
The Despicable Me franchise consists of four feature films following Gru. The story begins when Gru attempts to steal the Moon and adopts three orphaned girls, leading to unexpected bonds. Subsequent entries follow Gru as he is recruited by the Anti-Villain League, teams up with Lucy to stop Balthazar Bratt, and welcomes a new family member while going on the run from a new nemesis. Because each film builds directly upon the character developments and family additions established in previous installments, watching the movies in release order is the most logical way to experience the narrative continuity of Gru's story.
