In the anime Blood-C, Saya Kisaragi appears to be a friendly and clumsy high school student who serves as the shrine maiden at a Shinto shrine run by her father, Tadayoshi, near Lake Suwa. By day, she attends classes and visits a local cafe run by Fumito Nanahara, interacting with friends like Yūka, Itsuki, Nene, Nono, and Shinichirō, alongside her teacher Kanako.
