Dhurandhar plot recap, spoiler-light
Following the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, IB Director Ajay Sanyal initiates Operation Dhurandhar. In 2004, an agent sent into the dangerous Lyari suburb of Karachi adopts the persona of Hamza Ali Mazari. Posing as a waiter, Hamza embeds himself within the local gang led by Rehman Dakait and Uzair Baloch after saving Rehman's younger son during a violent clash with a rival faction.
Hamza quickly ascends within the criminal ranks by encouraging aggressive retaliation and showcasing his tactical skills. He also begins a relationship with Yalina, the daughter of a prominent political figure named Jameel Jamali. As Hamza gathers critical intelligence, he discovers ties between Rehman, the Khanani brothers, and Major Iqbal of the ISI, uncovering a counterfeit-currency scheme and a looming terror plot against India. Despite Hamza's efforts to pass along warnings, the tragic 26/11 Mumbai attacks still occur, hardening Hamza and his sleeper-agent associate Aalam in their mission to completely dismantle the hostile terror infrastructure operating from within Pakistan.
