Nisekoi plot recap, spoiler-light
Nisekoi centers on high schooler Raku Ichijo, heir to the Shuei-gumi yakuza faction, and Chitoge Kirisaki, daughter of the Beehive gang leader. Their paths cross violently when Chitoge leaps a wall and knees Raku in the face, leading to the loss of his cherished locket from a childhood promise. To prevent a bloody gang war, their fathers force the pair to pretend to be a romantic couple for three years.
Despite their mutual hostility, they must maintain this facade while dealing with interfering bodyguards like Claude and suspicious classmates. Complications multiply when Raku discovers his crush, Kosaki Onodera, also holds a key, mirroring Chitoge's own mysterious key. The romantic web expands further with the arrivals of Tsugumi Seishiro, Marika Tachibana who claims to be Raku's fiancée, Kosaki's sister Haru, and childhood friend Yui Kanakura.
Each girl brings her own history, key, and developing affection for Raku, turning his daily life into a chaotic maelstrom of rivalries and secret feelings. As the narrative progresses, the group investigates the true origins of the keys and the childhood memories connecting them.
