Romantic Killer plot recap, spoiler-light
Anzu Hoshino is a high school student who completely ignores fashion and real-life romance, preferring to spend her days immersed in video games, eating chocolate, and cuddling her cat Momohiki. Her peaceful routine is abruptly shattered when a magical wizard named Riri materializes before her. Riri identifies as a love cupid sent from the Magical World to combat a severe population decline caused by falling romance rates among humans.
To fix this, Riri forces Anzu into a special project designed to make her experience traditional shōjo manga scenarios with handsome guys. When Anzu flatly refuses to participate in this forced dating simulation, Riri confiscates her three favorite things as leverage, holding her video games, chocolate, and cat hostage. Left with no alternative, Anzu resolves to play along with the wizard's game on the surface. However, her true strategy is to actively dodge every single romantic encounter and cliché possible, desperately hoping to exhaust the wizard, reclaim her beloved possessions, and return to her ordinary, solitary lifestyle.
