Erotic Ghost Story watch order

The Erotic Ghost Story franchise consists of four films released between 1990 and 1992. The series centers on supernatural tales involving vixens, demons, monks, murals, and intimate encounters with the arcane. Because the entries largely feature standalone stories involving different characters, such as transforming vixens seducing a scholar, a lascivious demon demanding virgins, a wanderer entering a magical painting, and intimate encounters leading to arcane experiences, strict continuity between films is loose. However, watching the entries in release order allows viewers to experience the films in the sequence they were originally presented to audiences, tracking the thematic progression and stylistic evolution of the series from the 1990 original through the 1992 releases.
