Scott Williams decides to join a camping excursion in the rugged British Columbia wilderness alongside his estranged sister Ashley and her fiance Charlie, along with several other friends. Right from the beginning, the atmosphere among the travelers is heavy with unspoken friction and past grievances. Following a night defined by escalating interpersonal tension, Scott ends up completely separated from the rest of the party.
While wandering through the dense trees, he plunges roughly ten feet downward into a deeply concealed pit. The bottom of this hidden trap is lined with lethal, sharpened wooden stakes, which severely impale his leg and leave him physically immobilized. As he frantically attempts to evaluate his catastrophic injury and find a way out of the hole, a chilling realization sets in.
This deadly hazard was not a random mishap or an old logging hazard, but a purposefully constructed trap engineered by a hostile hunter actively stalking them through the forest. Cut off entirely from his companions and bleeding heavily, Scott realizes he must somehow survive his gruesome injury and warn the others before the relentless stalker eliminates them all one by one.
