In Pyaar Prema Kalyanam, Elan leaves behind a lucrative job in Dubai to restart his life in Chennai. While searching for employment, a matchmaking mix-up introduces him to Pavi, a vibrant social media creator. Their contrasting personalities complement each other, swiftly leading to a whirlwind romance and marriage.
However, the true test begins immediately after the wedding when Pavi refuses to leave her family home. She requests that Elan move in with her parents instead. Since he is still between jobs, Elan reluctantly agrees, inadvertently taking on the demanding responsibilities of a full-time homemaker.
What starts as a warm welcome soon transforms into an exhausting routine filled with household chores, caring for Pavi's grandfather, and managing a strict mother-in-law. Stung by societal stigma and losing his sense of self, Elan listens to bad advice from friends and attempts to subtly turn Pavi against her mother.
