The story centers on Rito Yuuki, a shy high schooler residing in Sainan city who struggles to confess his feelings to Haruna Sairenji. His life changes dramatically when Lala Satalin Deviluke, a naked alien princess with a pointed tail, materializes in his bathtub while fleeing an arranged marriage. Commander Zastin arrives to capture Lala, but after Rito accidentally convinces the aliens that he understands Lala, she falls deeply in love with him.
