You Can See Everything plot recap, spoiler-light
In You Can See Everything, disgraced Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes and her partner Billy Evans invite skeptical filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim to document their lives at a rented California beach house just thirty-four days before Holmes must report to prison. Fielder grows suspicious of the couple as Holmes maintains that her misleading statements about Theranos were simply misinterpreted. Evans continues to pitch investors on a new version of the blood-testing technology.
Fielder attempts to bridge communication gaps by showing them comedy routines and a dramatized miniseries about Holmes, titled The Dropout, which distresses her. Before turning herself in to Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, Holmes has her body 3D-scanned and expresses concern about her likeness being misused. Following her imprisonment, Evans and their children move to Texas. Filming resumes two years later, with Fielder observing Evans running a new venture called Haemanthus while exhibiting increasingly controlling behavior over Holmes's image and refusing to allow prison interviews.
