Bandar introduces Samar Mehra, an aging television celebrity whose career is slowly losing momentum. Struggling to adapt to modern perspectives on gender dynamics and personal accountability, Samar nevertheless enjoys contentment in his fresh romance with a young woman named Khushi. However, his tranquil routine shatters when Gayatri, his former partner, attempts to reenter his life.
Rejecting her advances entirely, Samar chooses to sever all communication and blocks her from reaching him. This dismissal sparks a severe escalation. Gayatri responds by filing a formal accusation of rape against him.
Swiftly arrested, Samar finds himself thrust into a deeply corrupt legal apparatus where officials appear intent on keeping him imprisoned rather than seeking objective truth. As tension mounts, the narrative relies on a complex flashback structure to reconstruct the past events leading up to the shocking allegation.
