DC plot recap, spoiler-light
In the film DC, rebel outlaw Devadas, known as Das, leads a small gang operating outside the legal system based on his own moral code. After executing a daring robbery on a police weapons convoy, Das steps in to help a local family whose farmer father was murdered by a corrupt Police Inspector. Das kills the Inspector and pledges to fund the dead farmer's son using the stolen money, drawing the immediate wrath of law enforcement.
While hiding, Das falls in love with a singer named Parvathy. However, a betrayal by the local lodge owner leads to a chaotic police raid where Parvathy is tragically killed by the commanding officer, Bhojaraj, to cover up crossfire casualties. Arrested and subjected to brutal torture, Das eventually manages to escape custody.
He exacts revenge on the lodge owner and crosses paths with Chandra, an exploited sex worker who closely resembles Parvathy. Chandra escapes with Das, joins his loyal gang, and helps them recoup lost funds through blackmailing wealthy clients. As law enforcement closes in, the turbulent alliance faces constant peril, betrayal by allies like Chunni Lal, and mounting bloodshed.
