Medical student Hana has long battled with her weight and struggles with binge eating. Her daily life and romantic prospects feel hindered by her physical struggles until she has a chance encounter with an old school friend. This acquaintance used to share the exact same weight-loss struggles but has since transformed, offering Hana a path forward through a miraculous new wonder pill.
Reluctantly at first, Hana takes the pill and quickly sees astonishing results as the pounds begin to drop off rapidly. Thrilled by her sudden physical transformation and the effectiveness of the treatment, Hana enthusiastically reconnects with her friend to secure another batch. However, she soon learns that maintaining this supply will require a significant amount of money that she does not easily have.
Determined to understand what she is paying for, Hana uses her medical student skills to analyze the chemical compounds of the pills. To her absolute horror, her laboratory analysis reveals that the pills contain nothing more than human ash, setting the stage for the terrifying psychological torment that follows.
