The Yeti plot recap, spoiler-light
In remote northern Alaska, oil tycoon Merriell Sunday Sr. and famous adventurer Hollis Bannister vanish in the harsh winter, mirroring a violent 1947 outpost attack. To find them, Sunday's son Merriell Sunday Jr.
and Bannister's cartographer daughter Ellie organize a rescue team. Their specialized crew includes guide Leander Coates, scientist Dr. Margaret Lamb, Dynamite Dan, and Booker Marchmont.
Journeying deep into the frozen wilderness, the expedition faces failing equipment and severed communication channels. Unidentified noises spark rising paranoia and severe distrust among the travelers. Soon, a towering prehistoric creature, identified as a living Gigantopithecus known as the Yeti, begins systematically hunting and brutally killing the crew members one by one.
After Leander Coates is pulled through a window and murdered, Ellie and Booker retreat to a radio outpost seeking help. While trying to broadcast a distress signal, the Yeti breaches the station and slaughters Booker. Ellie manages to flee into the snowy woods, eventually stumbling upon a hidden camp where she uncovers the shocking truth about the missing men and the region's deadly secret.
