TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy- plot recap, spoiler-light
The narrative begins when an ordinary teenager named Makoto Misumi finds himself suddenly pulled away from his normal life and summoned into a strange, unfamiliar reality under the guise of becoming a hero. However, his expectations are shattered immediately upon arrival when the ruling goddess of that realm looks upon him, declares him to be unattractive, and strips him entirely of his newly assigned hero status. Rather than sending him back or treating him with respect, the capricious deity banishes him directly to the dangerous outer edges and wastelands of the world.
Cast aside by both gods and humanity, Makoto is forced to navigate a harsh environment completely on his own. Yet, this cruel exile turns into an unexpected opportunity as he traverses the desolate regions. During his travels, he crosses paths with a wide array of fascinating non-human inhabitants, including powerful dragons, clever spiders, industrious orcs, and skilled dwarves. As he interacts with these marginalized populations, Makoto discovers hidden potential within himself, demonstrating remarkable aptitude in combat and magic that far exceeds anything he could have achieved back in his original human world.
