Gatta Kusthi 2 plot recap, spoiler-light
Gatta Kusthi 2 picks up a few years after the birth of Veera and Keerthi's daughter, Mathi, in Coimbatore. In a role reversal, Veera becomes a stay-at-home father handling domestic chores while Keerthi pursues her wrestling career. Veera even gains online popularity after a neighbour posts reels of his cooking.
However, marital friction arises when Veera supports Mathi's passion for dancing against Keerthi's wishes. Meanwhile, Keerthi's jealous coach conspires to sabotage her career. Witnessing a public fight between the couple, the coach tricks Veera into giving Keerthi special stress-relieving supplements.
Following a first-round loss, a dope test detects steroids, resulting in a one-year ban for Keerthi. Suspecting Veera sabotaged her out of a desire for control, a furious Keerthi leaves him for her parents' house with Mathi. Veera tries to prove his innocence, but an unbelieving Keerthi files for divorce and seeks full custody in family court, setting up a dramatic final act.
