Office Romance plot recap, spoiler-light
In the movie Office Romance, Jackie Cruz serves as the stern President and CEO of Air Cruz, an airline established by her demanding father. To maintain order and secure her standing with the skeptical board, Jackie strictly enforces an anti-fraternization policy among all staff members. Her carefully structured existence changes abruptly when Daniel Blanchflower, a reserved British attorney dealing with family obligations, joins the firm as legal counsel.
Daniel is assigned to a high-stakes litigation case, forcing him and Jackie into close collaboration. Their professional connection soon intensifies. During a business trip to the Dominican Republic for a deposition, Jackie pilots the private aircraft herself, placing them in isolation away from the corporate office.
In this tropical setting, their mutual attraction breaks through their professional boundaries, leading to a passionate secret romance. Back in New Jersey, the couple struggles to keep their relationship hidden from prying colleagues. The stakes rise significantly when opposing counsel threatens to expose the affair, putting Jackie's leadership and the future of Air Cruz in severe jeopardy.
